Reem Moussa moved to Coppell, TX from Cairo, EGY in 2009 with her family and a lot of ambition. Not long after, in 2011, she received a full athletic scholarship to play basketball at Rice University (Houston, TX,) which set her to be the first Egyptian female to receive a full basketball scholarship to a NCAA Division I institute. She was also part of the Egyptian Basketball Women's Junior National Team for four consecutive years (2009-2012.) In 2015, she graduated with an electrical and computer engineering degree and a minor in business. Shortly after her graduation, she started playing for a semi-professional team in the United States aiming to pursue a professional career in the game of basketball, and surely in 2016, Reem was set for her first professional year in the Czech Republic. On her first year, Reem managed to win a European Championship with KP Brno to become the first Egyptian female basketball player to achieve such title.
